You are bidding on a cassette tape with the Ben Liebrand Minimix of Phil Collins. Recorded and frame mounted, including signature by Ben Liebrand.
This minimix was made and broadcasted on the 31st of July in 1987. It was subsequently played at a DJ convention in London and picked up by Virgin Records the very next day.
It earned Phil Collins another top 4 position in the UK charts and Ben Liebrand received a sales award for 25.000 copies sold.
Here now a cassette tape with that famous Minimix, this cassette recording, made in Ben's studio in Canada on the same type of cassette deck he had back in the day.
The winner of this bid will also receive the mix as a digital wav file including the making-of video as mp4.
The signed cassette label + box shown in the video are also included. The cassette can be taken in and out of the frame, so it can be played as well.

That's true, looks like he puts more time in the Minimixes than the 30 minutes In The Mix sessions. But I still can enjoy the surprises in his Mixes. Often I just can't hear how he does these transitions. I do know he uses many loops and his absolute pitch or perfect pitch skills help him a lot.
Here below e.g. at 8:30 minutes how he uses the Show Me Love vocals into the next track is just stunning. At 13:30 minutes he uses loops to start Dominator, but he at 14:09 and 14:23 he uses a sample of the previous track to make the transition smoother. Then the hoover and vocal into the next track. Thinking of it is one, doing it and making it sound good is something that asks for skills.

But he mixes tracks you normally wouldn't think of putting behind or over each other, like Instant Moments-Pump it up-Power of American Natives or The Ultimate Seduction and Water Verve in my opinion is pretty cool.
You are aware that he's not just playing these tracks, but does a lot of editing (like he has been doing for so long)?

Yeah I saw that but I still think when he mixes samples together to make a brand new track, shows how good he really is.

Of course it's two different things and how he makes 'new' tracks is more unique compared to the mixing, indeed it shows his skills better.
But it's two things he has been doing side by side for a long time.
