Gonna get an Ass Degree in Science for 'Occupational Therapy Assistant'. I went yesterday to retake my ACT cuz I took em long ago when I was 18 and I passed everything (essay, reading, pre-algebra) EXCEPT for the Algebra part. So I'll prob need to sign up for that class and that's it. Pretty good for not having been in school for a few years. I was proud at my scores. woot
I went to BCC for one year. Took a few classes then just stopped going. But I think I am ready. I really wanna do this. If things go good after these 2 years then maybe I'll just become an OT but we have to wait and see.

mel, take it from someone who did 2.5 years, then took a 3 year break, and now am finally finishing my shit... once you go back DON'T STOP! its gonna be hard. but dont let that stop you. my brain isnt the same it was 5 years ago. i cant study all night for an exam and expect to get an A. i seriously need atleast 3 days to make sure i dont fail. oh and most importantly... never miss class. its the easiest thing in the world to do, attend class, but its also the one thats the most essential to your success.
and trust me, itll be exciting when you first go back and you'll wonder "why did i hate school so much before?" but after a few semesters you'll begin to dislike it again... but once again, dont let that stop you.
anyway, enough of my gay little pep talk... good luck.
