Spirits with Coke (a-Cola) isn't an unusual thing over in the UK, but it seems to be a rarity when I travel anywhere outside of Europe....... with the exception of France, but they're all assholes, right?

Anyway..... it's Vodka Martini o'clock!

I'm not there now, but I took it a few weeks ago in Hong Kong, at Sevva, 25 floors up. My new favourite bar....... and how could it not be, with a view like this....

It's not the cheapest place I've been to, though. I had 5 drinks in about 80 mins and spent over £120 lol.

I've mentioned this bar before in the COR, but if you're ever in Hong Kong and you enjoy a nice drink, you would be stupid not to go to this amazing establishment.

Bars in Asia seem overly nice. All the bars I went to in Kobe were extremely cool.

Wow, that HK bar looks awesome. I hope to visit there someday. As it stands, the only Asian country I've visited is Japan (3 times), and I love it so much that whenever I have an opportunity to vacation in Asia, I always want it to be Japan. I'll need to branch out eventually!

There are some great bars in Japan, too. One expensive, but awesome choice is the bar in the Mori tower in Roppongi Hills. It's on the same floor as the art museum. Absolutely breathtaking views. One of the few places I'd recommend in Roppongi (the area is just too western to be very interesting to a western tourist... some cool architecture, though).

EDIT: Here's a photo of the bar I found online. It's even more breathtaking at night:

Click here for the pic (kinda big)

The bar/restaurant at the hotel we stayed at in Kobe had an amazing view looking west towards the Akashi-Kaikyo bridge (the longest suspension bridge in the world). I can't find a good picture online, but the hotel was the Maiko Villa. It's just down the street from Maiko station which is right under the bridge. All the views from the rooms were amazing. Also hardly any westerners go there, its mainly Japanese travelers and Koreans.

My brother frequented a local bar near there too that was pretty cool as well.

Fuck, I need to go back to Japan.

You know, there are some really good vermouths out there that I would totally drink by itself. Dolin especially, and also a few others.

Not saying I was drinking any of those, though
