You figure you can save her. You sell your color tv, that keeps her off the streets a whole day. You hawk your typewriter for one jolt. Then your shotgun, your watch. A week later you say "Listen I'm a little short", but she says "No scratch, no snatch". You say "Look it is better to give", but she says "Beat off creep".
One night they spot you on the street in your skibbies trying to sell your shoes. You tell them who you are, but they nail you. Then she happens by and she says "Christ you look fucked", she says "Hang tough!". But you don't say anything, you just think "what a bum rap for a nice, sensitive guy like me".

Geen nostalgie?

De meerwaarde van de nostalgische acteurs is zeer ver te zoeken als je rekening houdt met de afschuwelijk banale plot en de saaie, irritante dialogen. De scene met Schwarzenegger deed letterlijk pijn aan mijn ogen.

Zonder Steven Seagall, Jean-Claude Van Damme en Michael Dudikoff was de film op voorhand al gedoemd om te mislukken hé. Not to mention Chuck Norris.

Ik ben nooit een grote JVCD fan geweest. Met Sylvester, Arnold en Dolph was het plaatje al compleet voor mij. Ik heb van de film genoten, maar echt goed vond ik 'm niet. Dan vond ik de laatste Rambo beter.

Die laatste Rambo was zelfs als hersenloze actiefilm slecht. Dat belooft niet veel goeds dan.

Clash of the titans: Best een leuke film met redelijk goede cgi enz. een goede "breinloze film" ma langs den andere kant was het redelijk boring maar dat was omdat ik vorige week "percy jackson and the lightning thief" had gezien.

kick-ass: echt een leuke film om te zien, aanrader

Films van de laatste maanden die ik de moeite vond: Black Swan, The Town, Buried, Tron (voor de special effects en de muziek vooral)

Beste film van 2010: Inception

Hoogst op mijn 'must-see' lijstje: 127 Hours, Sanctum en True Grit

weinig nieuwe films gezien dit jaar, maar Inception was voor mij ook de beste van de films die ik gezien heb.

Verder ook goeie dingen gehoord van Black Swan.

En Tron Legacy moet ik écht gezien hebben !!!!

Inception zou de oscar moeten winnen voor beste film. Maar zijn timing is niet perfect. Christopher Nolan wordt serieus vergeten bij de nominaties.

Afgelopen weekend The King's speech bekeken. Goeie film en goeie acteerprestatie van Colin Firth, maar zeker niet beter dan Inception. True Gritt vond ik ook niet zo speciaal. De broertjes maakten al betere en interessantere films. 127 hours vond ik ook goed. Mss een beetje bevooroordeeld omdat we vlakbij op reis gingen. Winter's Bone is ook een goed drama. The kids are all right is een goeie wijf tv film maar niet oscar waardig.

The Social Network heb ik onlangs gezien. Zeker geen slechte film, maar zou nu wel liever een andere de oscar voor beste film zien wegkapen. 127 Hours staat bovenaan het to-see-lijstje, net als Hereafter.
