Some nice evil bass sounds come from that..
Is that freeware?

I haven´t posted a pic yet, so here goes. I moved into a new house last year, and haven´t been able to get things organized properly. And the only acoustic treatment I have so far are two small bass traps in the front of the room, and large one in the back. I´m planning on doing some extensive work to this room later this year, so I´ll post a pic when I´ve done that.
btw, sorry for the crap quality.. It´s taken with my mobile cam.

Beyer, how do you like your focal twins? Are you happy with them?
I'm really pleased with them, even though I haven't burned them properly in yet. I have to say that they sounded pretty dull at first, but they have started to open up really nicely now.
I haven't been mixing alot with them, but they are ultra revealing, and just a pleasure to work with. Listening to enya and hi quality recordings gives me goosebumps.
As these are my first monitors, I don't have anything to reference to, and I bought these just based on my prior experience with focal speakers, and the massive positive reputation they have got in the pro audio community.
But I had a really tough time choosing them over the dynaudio bm6, adam p11, the solo 6, k&h O110 and a few others. But I feel I made the right choice.

I have to say for your first pair they are an excellent choice! They are much better than the BM6A (my last pair) & ADAM P11's.
I was deciding between the Focal Twins & the K+H O300 & i finally went with K+H as they seemed to get rated slightly higher in most reviews.
@ nec
The RME Fireface 400 is rock solid, no complaints there! I'm really happy with it, though i might upgrade to a Benchmark DAC1 or Lavry DA10 in the future for D/A conversion.
The O300 were definitely out of my price range. I wasn't planning on spending this much on speakers in the first place, but I realized that I'd probably regret it if I didn't get the twins rather than the solos.
I don't see myself ever selling these in favor of something else. Though, being a gearslut, you never know.
