I can get the sounds I want with Reason, but I can't figure out how to that analog feel. Plus it takes a lot of cpu. Also, having no keyboard at all plus some sort of "Family edition" soundcard makes me look at you guys rich. Where am I supposed to get the money? I'm just 15. I do have a newspaper job, but it takes ages to save up for a JP8000. And you guys got the JP8000 plus a lot of other synths.

Then I won't recommend you to start using vst compatible sequencers, reason is about as powerfulland cpy friendly as it can get.
If less is more think about how much more more would be.

It gets more and more laggier when using more advance synths and effects.

Notice the ironic timing of Thee-o's post? Talk about rubbing someone's face in it. Poor AuxiliaryInput...
Kinda agree with mzvirbulis, you're only 15...it'll take a bit longer to get a well paid job. Shit, I'm 24 now and I only bought my equipment this year.
Really nice rig btw, Thee-O

LOL. I didn't mean for it to be ironic...I was just doing what the post wanted me to do!
Thanks Aquila...
and yeah it takes you a while to get what you want..I am 32 now...so being patient and waiting for the right time is key.

^ i doubt it!
i say it would be a plugin's through cubase, and he uses three lcd screen because he's got to outlay all the stuff on the screens for better efficiency. you try and do what matt has with one screen and it would be a nightmare!

I use two LCDs also, I have it setup pretty much the same.. Sequencer window on left moniter, vst plugins and such on right, mixer going across both.. but mines on the top not bottom..
Anyway, you can clearly see its a seperate program in the pic.
I'm wanting a third monitor.. how do you have it setup? With two video cards? or is there a splitter you can get? my monitor has two outputs already.. the blue kind and white kind.
Im 15 aswell and my advice is ditch the paper rout and go for a supermarket job. They are better then fast food and you can stick with it through college untill you get a degree and a real job.
Working in a supermarket i make more money then all my friends who work in fast food. It works better also because we have unions!
Dont waist money where regular 15 year olds do. Movies, clothes, ipods...
If you want equipment like most the guys on TA you have to sacrifice your life haha.
