De eigenaar van de Leuvense 'The Retro Shop' zal de zaak uitbaten, samen met nog iemand anders. Eén à twee dagen per week zou YDR mee de verkoop doen. Bedoeling is om de zotte dagen van Rebel Grooves te laten herleven: Pint in de rechterhand, plaat in de linkerhand en muziek luisteren.

Buiten hun onwaarschijnlijk groot assortiment aan retro (zo ongeveer de hele Bonzai-collectie - herinner u het faillissement en de duizenden platen die toen nog in de kelder in Deurne lagen - maar ook Dance Opera, R&S en Yeti-releases,... .) gaan ze nu ook actuele releases verkopen.

Enkele weken geleden vertelden de heren me dat de zaak zou openen op 11 augustus. Aangezien ik elke dag, voor en na het werk, voorbij het pand kom, zal ik een oogje in het zeil houden.
