Hmm, I saw that picture in the Wall Street Journal this morning - they have an article about it. I didn't read the article, but all I remember was a headline that said something like "this doesn't look like any joystick you've seen"

No it's nintendos control for nintendo DS (or whatever they call it). Looks pretty awesome (there is a video of it too, it has lots of ubercool feuture!)
