ALOT cheaper than London, dunno about Dublin tho. I would think it would be easy to get a job, especially since you aren't Spanish or Polish who tend to glut the market. And your English is alot better than most of them and they all got jobs, the ones I know, so should be easy enough.

That's problem # II I don't really have a clue! Economics, bussiness, politics or engineering are the ones I'm currently thinking of... Do you need exceptional grades to get in there?

Wouldn't have thought so I got in . There are three unis which do thouse kinda things there too. Not just Edinburgh but it is probebly the best known.

For Informatics (what I did) it's ranked the best in Britain by the Times. But I dunno how good it is at any other stuff, apart from being really good for biomedicine I think.

Interesting Have been checking out a few things now by myself too and it defently seems promising

What did you study there anyway?

I was only there for a year, I was doing an MSc at an institute which Edinburgh is a part of, I did my project there too. It was in system level integration basicly most aspects of designing integrated circuits. For example my project was redesigning a processor to run lower power or faster.

But they are really strong in AI too. As well as computer architecture. If thats your kinda thing. They would probebly be strong on most forms of electronic and electrical engineering too (james clark maxwell was taught there). And the bio stuff too (darwin was taught about evolution there).

Not so sure about the Economics or Politcs there tho. But it is genrally quite a strong uni.
