Happy late birthday mate hope it was a good one?
Also hasn't neo left now, so we actually have no form of mod?

@Tito: Happy birthday buddy! You know you're getting old when you're celebrating with 15 year old music.
Regarding a (new) mod: I'm a big supporter of this. Only problem is finding someone who's both very calm (muy importante!) and who is reading all of the posts. occrider was a good candidate, although of course that's not helping much right now. I also think Tito could be a good mod (but given his statement above maybe he reads to little in here).

i'm pretty sure that coup has full modding capabilities here, i'll ask him when he's around irc later.. but even if he does, that probably only means 'modding on request' and not actively going through the forum in search of annoyances...
Oh I'm still around. I wish I could credit my absence to academia, but I took a week long scuba diving vacation in central america followed by a 3 week tour through Italy, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Austria. Needless to say I had a blast (skiing and skydiving in Interlaken were notable highlights ... besides petting sharks and whatnot during my dive trip), but I just got back Sunday and I've been exhuasted. I'll be around a bit more than I have been the past month, but I have a ton to catch up on at work and in studying for my test. Happy birthday Tito! Cheers.

Happy B-Day Tito,
Yea, I think the deterioration of the forum is just a conincidence cycle.
Us regulars (me, dito, occ, andrew) seem to have left for purely other reason (busy elsewhere) and at the same point in time n00bs infiltrated to bring down the quality.
Stick it out, n00bs disappear as quickly as they emerge, and the PDD just has its seasons just like everything else in life...

i too am sick of the poor form of some of the newer posters, but having even more people go on hiatus is just gonna make it worse for those of us that remain shaolin_Z
