Btw so I just bought tickets to go to Egypt in late April! I'll be spending about a week in London before I move on to Egypt for two weeks. My first week in Egypt I'll be around the Southern Red Sea scuba diving near Sudan on a liveaboard. My second week I plan on spending time on the mainland. I'm definitely spending time in Cairo, but does anyone have any ideas for things to do outside of Cairo (Luxor ... Alexandria ... etc.)? I've heard that a must do is to visit a desert oasis.
