Yesterday, I saw Babel:



It's a really moving drama, showing very different sad realities. Northern Mexico reminded me a lot of North-eastern Brazil, and I could also relate to the Japanese urban life. The fragmented notion of time in space is also subtle enough to improve one's understanding of what's going on.

In the end, in spite of a painful headache I had (because of sinusitis), I was happy for a strange reason: Except for Moroccan Arab, I could understand all languages spoken in the film fairly well

I didnt miss the sniping posted after I wandered off to bed but its given me an idea where I stand and what you two people think of me, enough to realise that you really don't like some 'lippy little bitch' whos prepared to tell you exactly what I think. So after my sincere apology being ignored in favour of both of you being overly confrontational and deciding to pick me to bits in whatever judgement you seemed to agree on, there isnt much to say really.
Anything I do say just gets taken as a personal attack rather than benevolent, if not exactly elegant criticism and I don't want to be constantly on the defensive like I said earlier. It's wearysome, dull and not exactly a debate when one side has already damned you by refusing to read.
Course, I really don't want an apology either, both Zild and yourself would probably rather die by their wrongs than ever admit you where in the first place. An admirable display of stubborness, but hardly a way of ever learning anything about yourself you might not want to hear but probably should.

You'll probably find this funny, I found it in the COR of all places and it more or less sums up how I'm starting to feel about PD/D...
