'tis mostly awful.

Giraffes aren't though, they're the most sweet natured, gentle creatures ever

Yeah, I reckon I'm safer here Anyway, for how long have you lived in Africa?

Not very long... 5years in SA where I was born, then sent to England for not being 'white enough' to live for a few years with relatives, then Australia for most of my teenage years with more relatives and work, lived about a year in Zimbabwe with my biological mother and chased out for being a landowner.
Hence, I live in Australia where it's sleepy, dull and safe! Really don't have any sense of national belonging
Aside from that I've been too a fair few countries, not South America though, I may end up there one day.

You travelled much or just like languages?

I just happen to like language a lot.

I mean, I did travel a lot during my childhood. I lived in the US for 6 months when I was 2 years old, and I lived in Italy for 2 years, back in the time when I was learning to read (so I learnt to ready twice: first in Italian and then in Portuguese), and I still remember our "European tour" (Italy, France, Monaco, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Lichtenstein, Switzerland, San Marino and the Vatican city). However, I haven't gone anywhere else since I came back from Italy... and you don't really enjoy that kind of trip when you're ~6 years old

So, do you sound Aussie, British or South African?

Be Cool! OLD CHEESE!!! ALERT!!!

I was going through a bunch of old CDRs that I found and stumbled on a mix I did back in either 2000 or 2001. Can't remember really to tell you the truth. But this is the stuff I had to; use to spin... grrrrr but hell I was on the Radio in one of the largest markets in the US .....

You even hear that annoying Blow My Whistle Bitch song, ha ha
[you also hear how I try to edit out all of the cuss words in the tracks on the fly]

damn that was a while back!! ha ha

train wreck at around the 11:30 point. Focking Belt Drives!!
showed up at the station and thier Direct Drives were at the P.D.s home. So the only ones they had were Gemini 500s or something like that.

http://www.lazfx.com/mp3s/kvic4_Sept1.mp3

you can hear how I switched up from different types of EDM in this mix. Since it was A Top 40 Sation, and the mix started at 9pm, I had stray from the heavy underground choons.

if ya don't want to down load, just stream it from my site. its called kvic4_Sept1

Open the FX Radio

I have like a stack of old CDrs that I am going through, There is even a video that I found, but its in RealMedia format...

Oh well, hope all of you still like me, after I was totaly wasted last night. and roaming the forums...

OMG, you've just made my day, Laz It had been a while since I last heard Amok, hehe... "todo el mundo, en este segundo, arriba con los brazos, vamos amok!", gotta love that non-sense

What's the first tune, by the way?

I'm happy... yesterday I bought
"Linguistic Turns in Philosophy" and "History of Linguistics". And, if I pass the test I'm taking Friday, I'm going to overload Amazon with a few orders, along with this baby here

I'm not some cockney scrubber thankyou very much!
It's far worse, west country accent... which is marginally less intelligent sounding
But it's mostly gone now with more Australian inflections having lived there for longer, rather than the Devon drawl which my grandmother used to spank out of me if I started picking up at an early age at school. The 'saffa' accent is long gone, never really had it long enough thankfully, sounds like someone beating dutch to death...

LOL, Ricky Martin kicks ass !

quote:
Ricky Martin gives the finger to Bush

Ricky Martin, who was a headliner at the 2001 inauguration ball for President George W. Bush, has a message for the American commander in chief about war.

At a recent concert, the 35-year-old singer stuck up his middle finger when he sang the president's name in his song "Asignatura Pendiente," which includes the words, "a photo with Bush." The gesture last Friday prompted cheers from thousands of fans in the San Juan stadium.

On Thursday, the Puerto Rican heartthrob repeated his criticism of the Iraq war and explained his changed position on Bush.

"My convictions of peace and life go beyond any government and political agenda and as long as I have a voice onstage and offstage, I will always condemn war and those who promulgate it," Martin said about his action in an e-mail statement sent to The Associated Press via a spokesman.

Martin, like other artists, has been highly critical of the war in Iraq.

Best known to international audiences for his smash hit "Livin' la Vida Loca," Martin is a huge star in Puerto Rico, where symbols of national identity — such as the Puerto Rican flag and anthem — are widely adored, and residents have complicated feelings about Washington.

The United States seized Puerto Rico in 1898 at the end of the Spanish-American War.

Puerto Rico's 4 million people are U.S. citizens and can be drafted into the military but cannot vote for president and have no voting representation in Congress. They also do not pay federal taxes.

Funny Ricky Martin related story:

When he made it big, with that song, Livin la Vida Loca my friends and I were fucking around all drunk and shit, you know, Acting stupid for our wives/girlfriends. Well any way, we were trying to act like him and was shaking my hips and dancing like he was. You know the whole gyrating moves he did. Well suffice to say, I am a boxer type dude and after a night of dancing like him, I ended up with testicular torsion.

OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Here Z, here he is for you in all of his greatness..

ha ha ha
