Some video from my vacation in Egypt as promised. I'll post a few pics as I sort them.
Towards the end I drop the camera and I'm turning to my friend saying something to the effect of "holy shit that was fucking awesome". No magnification btw, I staretd filming maybe 15 seconds after I saw them. The pod came out of nowhere and started circling us within a meter's distance. I could defintely see that the initial 3 were giving us a good eye over before the rest of the pod decided to swim by us. I've never been that close to a pelagic much less so many.

Thanks! This was my first dive trip with it, but I really like my underwater camera (Olympus SP-350). I was surprised with its video quality and it has the capability for good still photos:
I'm still a rookie though ... half my pictures turned out crappy. I need to take a course.
That pic btw was a huge passenger ferry that sunk on a reef ... a couple hundred people died so it was creepy swimming through it

Yea I would take the pics in RAW mode, but I didn't have enough memory cards. I was mostly playing with white balance in an attempt to get the colors right. I really need an underwater strobe. And an underwater photography course ...
Oh yea and we were at around 120ft, so there wasn't that much light at that depth

Egypt kicks ass and is dirt cheap. I'd go back again. Plus I felt safer in Egypt than I would in certain parts of DC

Awesome that you got a bike. Always wanted one but I spend too much money diving ...
I'll upload a pic of me and my bike soon, a little less interesting than scuba diving to you I'm sure.
