Do you feel an urge to pepper every post with whatever anecdote or wikipedia page you just got done reading? Most of them are complete red herrings.
I just don't understand where you feel you get this entitlement to be a conduit for some "greater" truth that only you are privy to. If you were really an ever-questioning crusader for truth, you would read a little Socrates with your Plato.

Judgement calls? I've only stated the obvious. I've posted hundreds of stern admonitions from credible and/or apparently very astute people from both America and around the world which all seem to coincide with the same message that I personally have been trying to convey here but you people seem to be in such a state of obvious denial that it becomes frustrating.
It's as though humanity is stuck on the traintracks while the train is roaring towards us at an ever increasing rate of speed but despite several years of advanced warning you still sit contently and ignorantly in the path of danger.
It's hardly an entitlement. For many of us who have awoken to this reality it's become our civic duty to alert everyone else.
I'm sorry if I've disturbed your sleep but the fact of the matter is that people need to wake up before it's too late!!

Once you get used to doing that I'm sure that you'll find that it's not really all that hard and who knows, you might even like it! Learning can be a lot of fun.
So you're now attacking my intellect for the sake of doing so when you've run out of anything of substance?
quote:
How do you figure? I've been enduring the same ridicule from you guys for a few years now and in despite of all of your personal attacks I still love everyone
I don't, but I don't make a pretence of it like you.

Anyway, I've been about as introspective as one can be given my Western upbringing and after everything that I've learned, I don't think that I could ever go back to materially focusing on myself in such a blind and inconsiderate way. We humans were brought into this existence in order to perfect our souls, not because we're here to compete to see who can collect the most material sh*t.
Bit of wealth envy too I see, no, that's guilt.
I always thought that was a particularly odd trait from a lot of the western upper and middle classes, they are afforded the luxury of sitting around on their fat arses doing some deep thinking about how terrible the world is. After awhile a few of them feel guilty about it, being brought up in their affluent lifestyles which are bought at the cost of real blood, oppression and post colonial wars.
So they indulge in some trite self-flagellation for a little while to make themselves feel better about the clean water, electricity, ample food and probably give up eating meat, join peta or some other fruitbat yank organisation to save the world while going to college on their industrialist parents money.
Course, none of them ever learn that they will always be, just posers as they regurgitate their 2nd-class, paid for rote education which only requires a dollar to get a degree and not an ounce of intelligence.
quote:
Yeah, it's obvious that you're content with blindly focusing on yourself and on frivolous material crap.
You'll appreciate that crap when you see people who genuinely have none...
quote:
To me cowardice is sleepwalking through life while you continue to avoid asking the tough questions which are required to solve the problems that plague humanity.
...and when you see genuine oppression from down the wrong end of one the guns your country sells to put dinner on the table in the good ol' US of A
quote:
You obviously haven't a clue (nor do you seem to care) about anything regarding philosophical, spiritual or metaphysical knowledge and because of that I do feel sorry for you. It must be painful to be so shallow and so fake.
Irony?
I don't want your pity, you can go ram that where the sun doesn't shine. Seriously mate, don't even go that line of BS with me, especially from the likes of you.
quote:
You don't believe in the aphorism, nosce te ipsum? Well, thinking ALONG YOUR (narrowly defined) LINES definitely won't change anything but that's only because you haven't trained your mind to really think. Have you ever meditated upon a Koan before? Up until now, have you ever even heard of the term? Be honest.
Oh god he's throwing wiki articles about now... we even manage to beat that out of Magnetomium after long enough proving it's a crock.
Answer the damn questions already instead of running off on tangents... no wait, don't bother.

It was Google video, not YouTube. Who doesn't allow Google? I'm glad that my Adblock Plus doesn't add blinders where I don't need them.
Probably since google does tracing, which can be pulled by the FBI and your NSA without a warrant, I thought even a fruitbat conspiracy nut like yourself would know that.
quote:
The thought police must be hard at work.
That cliché is so cripplingly bad I can barely believe it's not parody, being american, wit isn't one of your strengths (short of exporting mounds of bad 'pie-throwing' television) so the sad reality is that you believe it.
Go back to your self indulgent, north american lifestyle which affords you the luxury of telling us all how 'bad and terrible' we are out here in the rest of the world with your ample spare time.
Really, we don't need the pity, sorrow or pretend guilt of posers like yourself and much less want you trampling around our backyards on one of your 'crusades' to make us all, just like you. We've already seen enough of americans doing that and we'd most politely (force doesn't work, you make too many guns) like you to just piss off.

Lilith, you're a strange one... Given your life experience, it's kind of sad to see how bitter it's made you (that's not sarcasm btw). I know you've had it pretty rough, more than most, put you tend to rub a bit too much in people's face which reflects a somewhat inflated sense of self importance. I'm not saying that's necessarily the case, a bit of an oversimplification in perception... I know you a little better than that. But it's not terribly convincing as means of getting your point across. Just some friendly advice, don't take it the wrong way .

don't listen to him lilith, youre upfront and honest, no bullshit which is why we adopted you into our fine country!
if trancer had any idea how often he belittled people he wouldn't be so quick to cry foul of everyone else. im certainly not gonna sit here and accuse people of being a cvnt, coz i know i lower myself to that level sometimes too. i think people need to get a thicker skin if they're gonna repeatedly throw around terms like "ignorant" or "sheeples" etc.
