You know you're taking your studies too seriously when you dream with Chomsky, lol.
That was one of the most random dreams I've ever had

Must've been a life-changing nightmare!
(Are we talking linguistic or political Chomsky here?)

I finished the Lois Lowry trilogy (The Giver, Gathering Blue, Messenger) and am amazed at how interesting her politics get by the third and final book. If you are looking for a quick read that satirizes our "diverse" country and also has a very topical stance on immigration, check out this trilogy, especially Messenger.
Also, I read The Shadow of the Wind, for anybody that is interested in the Spanish Civil War period. Again, a prefect balance of great story telling with strong political messages.

Yes, that Chomsky... I always see him as a Linguist, not as a Political Activist, so I was talking to the "Linguist Chomsky" (You know there's just one Noam Chomsky, right?)
I don't really remember why exactly I was in his office, but I was. We were talking and then I offered him some Doritos (Hey, I was hungry!). Suddenly, he started crying, and put his head on my shoulder and asking me "Why?".
I was so puzzled when I woke up that I looked up on Wikipedia whether Doritos was Kosher

Rofl! I think political Chomsky would even rather have them not kosher. I know they're the same, I just try to seperate them, since I detest his political "oeuvre" but believe he's still admirable for his nonpolitical achievements.
