You could eat some herb... OR HEY! I just had a GREAT idea.... You just got that tea strainer, right? And you have all that leafy/shaky herb at your place... Make some tea kiddo! It'll taste good, it'll give you the body buzz/mild analgesic effects of herb, and it will HELP your throat instead of hurting it...

Probably a good idea...
that is first on my list of things to do when i get home tonight!!
but i don't have a tea strainer... well i do, but it's a shitty one with holes that aren't small enough, so the tea leaves fall through. but it might work for pot!

how long should i let it steep?
Approx 4-6 Minutes, and you're going to have to use kind of a lot. Not a TON, I mean don't fill that strainer all the way full, but close, and drink it slowly because it can cause an upset stomach in some people.
Also, if you can snag any cream/milk from work and can just add a bit of it to the tea, it will help the THC bond to the fats in the milk and not vapourize in the steam, helping the tea maintain it's potency...
And don't worry about herb leaves falling through, just consider those the special suprises in your tea...
