If you make pot into food and eat it, you'll absorb 100% of the THC. The way the THC gets processed/broken down in your body when eaten is slightly different too. The THC molecule when eaten is more psychoactive than when smoked (It has been shown that the primary active component of cannabis, Δ9-THC, is converted to the more psychoactive 11-hydroxy-THC by the liver - Wikipedia).

I've always wanted to put pot in food, but if it stinks as bad as people say, I'd be afraid to do it in my house.
Also, I'll be buying a new bong after this weekend. My first one broke right before fall semester, and I've been smoking blunts ever since. Time to get back to rippin' bongs while cruisin', driving with my knees, or letting my friend steer while I rip. I love it, I can't wait.
