From what I've read, although I haven't done too much research, the people who become schizophrenic from smoking pot are generally susceptible to it in the first place. We don't have a history of that at all in my family so I'm not really thinking about it, who knows though.

Well I am seriously considering picking up after term and exam are over, just for chilling purposes with friends.

Trouble is shit is terrible quality atm.

Anyone got tips on how to assess quality of skunk?

I know it is not supposed to be gritty when you grind a bit between your teeth and that smell and appearance have no indication of strength either.

I personally love the crumbly dry stuff. Rolls into a cone beautifully with some cigarette tobacco for a smooth warm smoke.

Cant wait to get baked and listen/produce some tunes with some mates.

I should mention that weed is probably the reason why I'm so into EDM now. I started smoking weed and listening to psytrance a little over 5 years ago and the effect that consuming both at the same time had on me back then was incredible. It was truly a special experience, one that I've tried to duplicate since. I continued smoking regularly (for the record, I smoke about 1.5 grams a day every day) and listening to EDM. For the record as well, I didn't start listening to EDM only 5 years ago. I actually started when I was quite young (7 or 8 I would say) but stopped when I was 13. Picked it back up when I was 17.

Anyway just thought I'd share my experience. Tonight I got some very interesting-looking weed. The buds are very long and the colors (yellow, red, purple) are very strong. Doesn't smell particularly but I smoked a joint over 3 hours ago and I'm still pretty fucking high.

and @ Lunar Phase: smell is the best way to assess the quality of the weed. If it smells very strong (even if you don't particularly like the smell, as long as it's of weed though!) then it should be good weed. If it smells little to nothing, then it's usually an indication of weak pot. Also, look out for the stems. You don't want anything with too many small stems. Generally also, good weed will also look nice. It is also normally more dense than lower quality weed. If you have good weed available where you live, you should be able to distinguish between that and lower quality stuff.

I've always been told to the contrary.

Problem is ******s round here like to add sugar or sand to the weed so it looks better quality (spraying with reflective paint also in the extreme circumstances) or just sell wet weed which is utter shit to roll with, burns far worse and rips you off in the long run.

Fortunately however, I discovered that my mate has just got a solid connection, so hopefully we should get some decent gear.

I am not even that bothered about getting undercut in terms of weight, just so long as its dry and crumbles well for a long smooth roll.

Fuck I love proper tight rolled joints.

If you have to put it in Tupperware to prevent your car or room from reeking, you know it's good.
