Ummm, salvia is pretty much nothing like weed, the higher extracts can be more intense than LSD, but last only a couple minutes.
Smoke a bowl of your extract preferably in a waterpipe of somesorts, try to get the biggest hit you can, and hold it in for as long as you can (this is important because salvia takes longer to be absorbed into your lungs than other smokeables).
Its wise to have a sober person watch over you during the trip.

Like Walouf said, it's nothing like weed. He's right about the big hit, and holding it in long, because it takes longer to get absorbed by the lungs, but quicker to feel the effects. About 10-15 seconds, but hold it in longer so you don't waste it on unnecessary hits. After about 30 seconds to a minute, you will FEEL IT! And you will lose your grip on reality!

Yeah, i've never tried it, but i've tripsat people doin it. My one friend put down the bong then looked up, laughed, and started mumbling incomprehensible shit while gazing off in a direction, then he raised his finger and tried to stand up, but like a drunk he stumbled over and fell on a dog bed, that he buried his head in while still mumbling.
He later told us everything was white, except our heads which were purple outlines, he doesnt remember trying to speak.
