he clearly hits the goalie's knee area with his skate and pushes the goalie away from the net while stopping to make the turn.
I still think he would have scored even if he didn't come in contact with the goalie. I've noticed more and more that players are encroaching on the goalie's crease during shootouts and there really is no excuse for that.
i dunno, it;s a super fine line with this one, it looks like it touches, but there's no momentum on the pad and you can see from the way the goalie moves that it's not moved by Grabi.
Still a pretty nice move though.

Just trade the entire team and bring up the Marlies....they couldn't do any worse then these bunch of idiots. I've never seen such poor ass passing, skating, positioning, shooting, defence, and checking in my life.

Im watching the game now and it honestly does not look like any one player on the team can compete with the other teams in the league. There is no unity between the players and the whole team is disorganized.
1 shot on a 4 min power play and that was in the last 15sec of it from an individual effort by grabovski (best player tonight so far).
i honestly blame the fans (me included) for continuing to watch, support the team during its worst slump in franchise history. people need to stop going to games, watching on tv and buying the merchandise. hopefully then the organization will turn around.

To stop going to games, watching on tv and buying merchandise won't make the team better....this isn't the Harold Ballard years.
The only thing that needs to be done is for Burke to come out and say they are going to be rebuilding and it won't be a quick turn around. The problem is Burke comes out last year saying they are a playoff team then you have Dion saying the same thing this year......stop giving false hope to Toronto Fans.....most of them are too stupid to realize it's bullshit.
Burke needs to tell the fans that this is going to be a long process....possibly 4-5 years more before they are even a playoff team....maybe 6-7 years before even a contender. After that Burke has to stick to the plan no matter what.

i think everyone thought that they would see progression immediately when burke stepped in. indeed a 5 year process. but the stats right now look the same as last year. we'll see in the 3rd and 4th year of burkes tenure.
this waiting period is terribly painful. i waste so much time watching these games.

Right now I don't see one player on the team that I wouldn't take trade offers for....not one single player.
