Is the soft synth industry the next dot com bubble? Thoughts?

Well? What do you think....

Personally I think there is a lot of crap products out there and people buy them like crazy and there all just wasting their money. The only ones getting rich are the software engineers and their investors, the M audios and takeis, and they make shite keyboards we all know that. NOw EVERYONE is a edm producer because we all have these soft synths, but how many of them are actually good, good plugins are few and far between , like the dot com bubble this bubble is going to burst soon and we will all realize that the true instrument of a edm producer is a keyboard synth.

yup, all those 1 person companies making all those softsynths are just raking it in. Fuck your dumb.

You don't seem to know what an economic bubble is. It isn't that thing in your vein that makes your high less than desirable. There already was an economic crash with hardware synths in the early 2000s.

You will find most sound designers using software. All those guys making weird sounds for movies, typically the most talented when talking about pure sound creation use mainly recorded sound or software.

Every single dance fad in the last 10 years was pretty much done by artists using software only.
