Thing is, I hate minimal, so can someone suggest something opposite of minimal Techno, but still Techno? Something loud, hard, and banging.
My thoughts exactly!! I have no clue about techno, but I LOVE Cox and Preach, so I know I must like it a lil
Jenn: dont listen to them...feel FREE to Preach whore in this thread!! Bring on the sets, I love this man!!!

A tribute to... Dominik Eulberg on Livesets.com right now! no need to register to tune in.
After a few weeks with special re-lives, it is once again time for one of our most popular show, the tribute show. This time we pay our respect to Germany's minimal hero, Dominik Eulberg.
Dominik Eulberg was born 1978 in Westerwald, Germany.
He now lives in Bonn. There he is
Dominik Eulberg’s biography seems to be quite a typical story of a musically talented boy. Dominik was born in 1978 in Westerwald, Germany. He started playing at the age of 15, to finally see his first album “Flora & Fauna” on 3rd and 5th places of German recaps of 2004. He was also nominated for the German Music Awards in the categories “Best Remix” and “Best Newcomer”
He now lives in Bonn. There he is studying biology and geography and sometimes works as a nationalpark ranger. His music and his live is linked very close with nature.
So be sure to tune in, this Friday at 12:00 CET for some amazing minimal tunes!
The schedule for the first part of the show:
12:00 Dominik Eulberg at Big City Beats (06-05-2006)
13:00 Dominik Eulberg at 10 Days Off (23-07-2005)
13:25 Dominik Eulberg at Ablak-A-Dubra (24-09-2005)
15:30 Dominik Eulberg at Gottingen (26-11-2004)
16:40 Dominik Eulberg at YouFM Sounds (21-07-2005)
17:40 Dominik Eulberg at Moving City (08-13-2005)
At 19:00 the RetroActive show will start, and after that we will re-live the Tresor sets from Nature One. Around 4:30 CET we will start with the second part of the tribute, which will go on till somewhere in the afternoon

just noticed this now..
It's my pleasure! I recommend people register with livesets.com, as I find them to be the best site I have come across for techno links.. plus they have many other styles of music as well.
Yankeebaby: you would probably like Valentino Kanzyani as well.

So last night at Nat & Graham's party, Vince (TheNeonAlien) and I were having a techno discussion and he mentioned Johannes Heil and said I must give him a listen. So I woke up this morning to my msn and Vince sending me a link to Juno to listen to a few samples. I liked what I heard so I dug a little deeper with it and came up with this: (it's the only one I have downloaded and liked so far.. there are a few others)
And to think that I was suppose to go to this party while I was in Holland.
I definitely like.. Thanks Vince

I was thinking about this today...Has Tania Vulcano ever played in Toronto? or even in NA? She's the only one from my favourite minimal femme trio who I have yet to see...
