I've never had any problems producing using only a gig. I've done it with even less. Hell give me an old Atari and some analog synths!

Oh I'm not saying you can't produce on a gig, I did on 512 for ages, I'm just saying theres one way you could convince me it makes sense for producers to have 1 gig while djs need 2 - and I hate freezing tracks if I can avoid it.

Final got my CDJ 1000 mk3s been waiting 3weeks for them to come!!
Only temp arrangment atm as I am stuck in the corner with them

I'm still saving for the ultimate setup. I've ditched all my old gear, put a hammer through my Behringher DJX700 and I've got about 1000 vinyls between me and my dad, thousands of CD's sitting in my room. There is not a more frustrating feeling not being able to mix with them.
