Great vibes at wave house this afternoon, but not sure what dahlback played that cheesy god awful music after me, didnt even know i was on the same gig as these guys!! lol ... seriously what the hell is that sound!! eeeekkkk

I really like it, especially how you hid the cables etc. A lick of paint or maybe a cloth would hide the 'diy'ness' of it though IMO.

Nice setup.

My Current set up. I need a new mixer as this ones a bit fucked. I Just built the unit a few weeks ago.

Aw man, I dunno why I get nostalgic when I see the djm 500 since my xone is years better, but I loved my 500 when I had it.

Yeah, didn't get round to making any so just used the iphone cases i had lying around. Thought it was better than nothing.

The 500 has been great but the channels have started bleeding so need to pick something up. Was thinking about getting a Xone 42 but not sure.

Same... I JUST got rid of my 500 like a month ago. Sold it to a buddy though, so I still get to play on it.

Really like that set up Simon.

Two small suggestions would be painting it. And putting some/making some shelves for the speakers to sit up at ear height. Would make the setup perfect IMO.

But as is too often the case once the table is done people are usually happy enough the way it is.

It took me 6months to get my act together and make a laptop stand for the corner of my table.

Didn't realise you had a 1D Mess! I've got a vague recollection of it coming up in conversation somewhere but I think it was at Ceri's and so the grid might well have been involved...

I was just getting ready to ask if he wanted to sell the 1D, but then I figure overseas shipping's probably a bitch.

Yeah was going to make some speaker stands but didn't get round to it. As for painting it i quite like it the way it is so will probably just leave it.


I did tell you Levi but you were a bit pissed at the time. Not too keen on using the 1d with Ableton. Will try it with Traktor see what thats like..
