Nice to see this thread still alive and kicking. Haven't been on the site in ages....
Snooping around after a long absence and noticed Perfect Stranger is going to be @ Harvestfest this year...It's a killer festival for those who have never been, and combine that with some Perfect Stranger and it'll no doubt be a weekend in nature that no one will soon forget. Going to try to make the trek for sure. (and I see the property has evolved alot since i was there a couple of years ago - added fun!!)

FARADIZE - FUSION
01 - Awakening the World (Intro) (105 BPM)
02 - To The Roots (145 BPM)
03 - Faradonia (148 BPM)
04 - Forgotten Psy (130 BPM)
Russian-born producer Faradize (Maxim Kucher), who presently resides in Beer-Sheva, capital of the Israeli full-on scene, returns to Ektoplazm with Fusion, his third collection of songs for the esteemed psytrance netlabel. Building on the symphonic strengths of Reviving A Legend (2010) and Darknight Castle (2009), Faradize further refines his melodic and expressive style on this rollicking ride into the far reaches of the imagination. Mastering and cover art by Maxim Kucher.
HINKSTEP - SUNRISE FROM THE TREETOPS
01 - Sunrise From The Treetops (126 BPM; 9/4)
02 - Moonwalk On Mushroom Street (80 BPM)
03 - Dreamland Dub (120 BPM; 6/4)
04 - Medusa (67.2 BPM)
05 - Aldrig Mer (130 BPM; 6/4)

Sunrise From The Treetops is the remarkable debut of Hinkstep (Jonas Tegenfeldt), a talented musician and audio engineer born and raised in the northern part of Sweden. After discovering the “other side” of Infected Mushroom’s groundbreaking album Converting Vegetarians, Jonas was hooked on the manifold possibilities of downtempo psychedelia. His boundless experiments in the years that followed eventually gave rise to a refreshingly eclectic style further influenced by the likes of Porcupine Tree and Younger Brother. Now, having cultivated a bold creative vision, Hinkstep is ready to share the sublime experience of this unique album with the world. Additional credits: female vocals on Aldrig Mer by Sara Johanna Lindström Westman; male vocals on Aldrig Mer by Milad Becky; guitar and sitar on Aldrig Mer by Peter Ekelund; guitar on Aldrig Mer by Daniel Schwartz; guitar on So Beautiful So Strange by Oscar Hägglund; vocals on So Beautiful So Strange and Sleep Again by Jonas Tegenfeldt. Mastered by Jonas Tegenfeldt with design and original photography by Basilisk. Released by Omnitropic, Ektoplazm’s downtempo imprint.
With a hint of winter chill in the air I am happy to present another round-up of some of the finest tracks posted on Ektoplazm this month. Each and every one of the songs listed below can be downloaded for free in CD quality on Ektoplazm, just follow the links (no registration required). You can also preview these songs with the streaming audio player on my site: http://www.ektoplazm.com/2011/dj-ba...n-november-2011
Faxi Nadu – The Deep [Postunder Records]
Distinctly original psytrance with a highly experimental touch. The entire album is full of surprises but this track is particularly delicious. http://www.ektoplazm.com/2011/faxi-...ck-of-your-life
Keamia – The Real World [Elephant Head Records]
This is a lovely full-on morning tune filled with passion and spirit. Keamia has made a lot of progress since he began releasing music on Ektoplazm. http://www.ektoplazm.com/2011/keamia-the-real-world
Mantra Flow – Behind The Shadow [Panzar Produktionz]
Bombastic progressive psytrance with huge melodies and loads of energy, almost like full-on pitched down and beefed up a few notches. http://www.ektoplazm.com/2011/mantr...hind-the-shadow
Brujo’s Bowl – Organic Structures [Timewave Records]
I have become a huge fan of Brujo’s Bowl since he appeared on the site earlier this year. This is another great psy dub tune from this talented newcomer. http://www.ektoplazm.com/2011/the-r...of-quetzalcoatl
PROKAION - DREAM FILAMENT [EKTEP20]
01 - G-Spot (136 BPM)
02 - Anywhere Out Of The World (140 BPM)
03 - Muses Rapture (142 BPM)
04 - CERN (144 BPM)
Prokaion is a new project from Daniel Mondry, a psytrance producer based in Berlin, Germany. After discovering electronic music in 1994 he founded the Zerotonine project with Robert Junge in 1997. Together they released an album, Cygnus Loops, and several different tunes for various labels such as Iboga Records, Nova Tekk, AP Records, and Society FX. Around 2003 the collaboration ended, partly because Daniel no longer felt excited about the sound of the time, and soon retired from production. In the intervening years Daniel frequently recalled fond memories of the happiness and bliss that good psychedelic trance can create. And so, last year he started over, bought new equipment, began to relearn music-making skills, charted a new creative direction, and wrote several fresh tunes. Four of these have been included here, on Dream Filament, a new release from Ektoplazm. Mastered by Colin Bennun at the Stooodio, Bristol, UK, with original photography and design by Basilisk.

Anywhere out of the world is just unbelievable!!! I can't believe how diverse the guys from Zerotonine are (I recommend everyone to check out the track that was released by them entitled 'two faces' which is also very different from their signature dark, driving minimal psy sound). Many thanks to basilisk, this is pure quality!

Cheers
Two Faces is from the very early days of the project. They started with an old school vibe, went minimal, dropped out altogether, and now Daniel is back with a fresh morning sound. Quite a change from the classics, that's for sure!
Please feel welcome to spread this one around the more trance-oriented forums I never get to... I think this release has heaps of crossover appeal but wouldn't know where to go
