At least I can save the $$$ for something else, though. YES, RENZO, LIKE JEANS.
I woke up today, after two days with no school due to blizzard condition. I had to work through these two wonderfully-winter-wonderland days off, so I'm tired, soar, and my feet are still pruney from wearing soaking-wet boots for hours at a time two days in a row. I woke up, decided to skip my Chemistry lecture and lab, and immediately poured myself a whiskey & coke. I've since upgraded my near-bricked phone, eaten lunch, had a pint of delicious amber ale, and am on my second stiff whiskey coke. Next stop: The casino, followed by bar after bar. Ahh winter in Wisconsin

Trying out an '08 Benton Lane Pinot Noir (Willamette). Very smooth...way too smooth...to the point of boredom. If this was a cake, it would be awesome, because I only taste, like, 3 things, and they all taste pretty good, but it's a wine, dammit! About what a good $20 bottle should taste like, but I don't know why people are giving this praise that goes beyond that. Hmph.
drink of the weekend: champagne & grapefruit juice.

saw my ex at the bar tonight (she's always at this fucking bar. it's my bar. i introduced you to it. gtfo)
had a few extra beers, took a shot...got myself home, dragged speakers into bathroom. ran extra-hot bath. listened to music at oppressively loud volumes while i finished the half-bottle of bacardi i had left from the weekend, mixing it with iced tea. (tasted like shit, is finished)

At least last time you Brits got pissed off, we got punk music out of it. This time, it'll probably just end up being embers breaks

almost any pinot from oregon is gonna be kick ass..... the "smoothness" is the quality coming through.
