I just don't see it. I can easily read subtitles while paying very close attention to the movie itself.

Hence why I said I am not against them doing them at all. It just doesn't work for me. Also, see above post.

Yes, heaven forbid that people watch films in languages other than their native one, or even -- *gasp* *sputter* -- try to *learn* a new language and then watch movies in it! Only snooty self-styled "intellectuals" would do something like that.

The scientist cannot capture the whole cosmos in thought. In his mind he makes a kind of microcosm, which we see as an analogue of the cosmos. In this way we try to get a feeling for the whole. The artist, I suppose, gets a feeling for the whole some other way.”

Has anybody seen The Wackness? I saw it the other day not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. Josh Peck definitely has some acting chops [who knew?], and Ben Kingsley, well, is always great.

Cannes is less underground than dubfire..It's the biggest festival that manage to look outside hollywood. If you're really into music, i don't understand how you can be so ignorant to other styles of art and cultural expressions.

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
I watched that movie in my high school film class while I was tripping on acid...not a great idea.

Sorry your feathers got ruffled.
Ah, there we have it.
It's actually fairly famous, and it came up when renzo asked what I've seen lately and I mentioned that I currently have that from Netflix but haven't seen it yet. If you want to read something into a comment like that, be my guest. We all know your powers of inductive reasoning border on paranoia.
It actually was an insult... from you first. Why are you trying to backtrack? wotyzoid put it out that a) my opinion was self righteous, and b) I must not have understood the movie if I didn't like it and you said "+1... if you want to be entertained go watch Transformers".
I was merely defending myself saying that I do get it, but still don't like it. You always try to spin it around on me. I didn't say anything personal about wotyzoid or anyone about their opinion... just that I thought the movie sucked. You two began the insulting taking a shot at my intelligence, hence my frontal lobe comment.
You're going to just add this to your "17sss paranoia scorecard", but sometimes I get the feeling you enjoy singling me out on here to get my wound up. Even when I'm not talking to you, you feel the need to interject and get under my skin.

Yeah, that's racist.
I apologize 17sss, I never meant to offend you. But you did post a video of the movie and said "WTF" so I just assumed you didn't understand it. Is that so wrong?
