Wow, that looks incredible. Definitely checking out.
As far as a "revival" goes, know that one more person (myself) is consistently banging these tunes out whenever possible. I recently made a mix (and alot of the songs I included have been referenced here...which I found amusing and awesome, since I _just_ signed up today) but I'm not happy with a few elements so I'm currently working on another one.
This is by far my favorite sound and genre, I pretty much "grew up" in the EDM scene on this stuff. I'm thrilled to see so many people still love it.

The sad thing is, a lot of this stuff still "works" on the dancefloor, even when mixed with some more modern tech-house sound, but you don't see a lot of people playing it.
I agree, I tend to throw in dark progressive house in a lot of techno and tech house sets, and in general it works really well. I think a lot of DJs are just scared to drop any of this type of stuff for one, because it's pretty old and who knows if it would go over well with most people, and two, they might be labeled as playing TRANCE.

Depends on how melodic you go, though. Obviously stuff like Apollo Vibes or Stage One falls into the trancey side...but there's so much (most of what's been posted in this thread) that sounds more tribal or just dark and driving with those atmospheric effects (Goove Is In The Air, My Release, etc. etc.)
