I swear my overhead light has like fucking voltage jumps or something... I go through a pair of light bulbs in it probably every 5 weeks. That cant be good!

Its old. House is from the mid-20s, and I am sure they didnt upgrade most of the wiring when they did the remodel in the 60s (which was just the kitchen and a bathroom remodel it seems like).

Yeah, same with the place I live now. Wiring is shit I have surge protectors all over the place, covering anything expensive
