agreed. i was leaving town, trying to make it on a flight when i became stuck in traffic. when i realized what was happening a took a quick shot with my phone. a fraction of a second later, the oncoming traffic would have blocked the shot.

what you see is a chp officer kneeling talking to the suicidal man. the man is on the other side of the railing. i didn't learn until i got back into town that minutes later he jumped to his death. i may have taken the last picture while he was alive.

happens about once every two weeks. just yesterday i saw someone get aprehended. another jumper i suspect.
