I wasn't ever claiming it was some huge dent. The point is that my car is brand fucking new, not even 6 months old, and I did this to it. It's a small but deep dent. You can actually see the outline of the brick edges. I will most likely have to get the whole goddamn bumper replaced - might as well have whacked the shit out of it.
Thankfully, it will probably just be the bumper cover. Unfortunately, there isn't much that can be done to fix a plastic bumper cover so you're looking at $1100 - $1600 to replace it. You may be able to find a uese part though, save you some cash.

Yeah my bf said the same thing re: just the bumper cover. Going to the dealership today and see what goes on. Yes, I realize it will cost a lot more going through the dealership - but I feel more comfortable b/c my car is still so new. No, it isn't logical - but I'm a woman at the end of the day.

if you can get a used one in the same colour it's actually a real easy repair to do yourself.

I'm at the dealership right now and actually he says I don't need a whole new cover. Part of the reason I came here also is because any work they do will be guaranteed under my warantee/the new paint job will be covered as long as I own it.

I went to the LeMans 24 Hours race again this year.
The weather started out shit Saturday morning, but improved through the day and Sunday was just excellent.
Here are a few pics:
Dome Judd run by the Pescarolo team. Probably my fav car out there.
Toyota TS030, sounded light a light saber when driving in the pit lane on battery power only
Audi R18 TDI e-tron quattro (yes, a whole lot of branding BS). You couldn't hear the car running though under heavy braking you could hear the flywheel spinning up to gather & store electricity to be used on the front wheels for extra traction out of corners
