yeah vancouver is a great city! i remember staying at a hostel down on grandville st. and it was over run with aussies... actually i met a fellow ta from australia there years ago and he keeps going back and forth between melborne and vancouver.

It truly is incredible. Very surreal to be surrounded by such natural beauty and history. The rainforest was something else. We ziplined over a glacier fed river!!

Wiener, my sis lives just a 10 minute walk from Granville Island. It's really awesome down there - lots of markets and stuff. What I love about where my sis lives is that it's just a 10 min walk to the pier, and then you hop on an aquabus for 3ish bucks to get to the other side (Yaletown, etc.) Super awesome! I love that Van is a walker/cycling friendly city.

Oh and everywhere we went you could smell pot in the air.
