Anyone have any experience of making a phone able to take the sim card of any provider? Rather than take a phone to the shops to the shops to get unlocked, would rather give it a bash myself.
I remember Nokias being easy as hell to unlock back then, have no clue wtf is going on now.
Can you tell us what phone you are trying to unlock?

I know it seems unreasonable, but try looking for unlocking/flashing/rooting/hacking "phone name" on your search engine of choice.
