no, i'm just kidding.

apparently the case was "continued". when i showed up the DA was all like "i told the cop to call you and tell you that you didn't have to come." the cop was there too, though. i spoke with him. we were both pissed that she didn't call us. he spoke with her briefly - seems like the guy will def cop a plea. he has 2 priors, one of which is for something similar, so he'll most likely serve 90 days in prison according to the cop.

yeah that was the right thing to do actually show up in court ... those moos' need to get what they deserve

well what i meant is that i showed up in court but the case wasn't happening on that day for whatever reason. they just didn't tell me. i didn't care tho - i went to sleep super early the night before and woke up at 5am so it's not like "i could've slept in" or whatever.

funny cuz i took this poli sci class over the summer, a core class, and we did this exercise - teacher gave us a sheet with hypothetical crimes and we filled out proper punishment. in the class of 14 people i was most lenient on the person that committed a crime similar to the one that happened to me (this was a week ago) lol
