In the techno heads opinion- whats the Techno booking of the year so far? IMO Dave Clarke this Sat. is it. I am obviously ahead of myself but booking-wise think its the biggest. Liebing at Pacha was Epic as well.

Dave Clarke is def up there, but I'm also excited about Shifted next weekend (I highly suggest you to be there, Taurus) and of course the Ostgut Ton night on July 3rd. There are other bookings that I'm excited about, but I can't talk about them yet... Booking of the year for me would be Paul Kalkbrenner in a big open space, festival style. Throw in Egbert and now we're talking. Yeah, I know, I'm spoiled. NY is so behind, I don't see this getting the support needed for it to happen. Plastikman's new show needs to be brought as well, as is Carl Craig's 69 Live. Still rallying for Terence Fixmer and Len Faki, I'd die if I saw them booked here. Or Pfirter. It's always the same names coming around, it's getting boring. If I see DVS1 booked one more time this year it means no one is taking a chance with anything new although Tar and Feathered guys are impressing me and I have hope. So many I'd love to see but nobody is willing to take a risk with bringing different names. And don't even get me started with the pseudo techno.
Also, I hope promoters are reading this: PAN-POT! What are you waiting for, people?! I'm damn sure I'm not the only one who's been asking for them lately.

No doubt C- for this year, so far I think Dave C is the biggest atm...I love PanPot but lately I cant get throught their sets - I know they arent hard but they are a bit too housey for me lately- I still DL their sets but leave with wanting Mas.

techno wise, i have not been wowed nor impressed at all this yr..nothing comes to mind! the biggest name which I'm looking forward to would be Robert Hood.
that's some wishful thinking but i don't see Paul coming here in the near future..would be insane but, as mentioned, festival style would be the proper way to host him and these corny festivals in America are no game for sucha name.
edit: now that i think about it, Sasha Carassi!!! He would be it for me so far this yr.

Was Christian Smith in 2012? He needed a bigger party but I'm glad I finally got to see him.
I've been saying Pan-Pot for ever. I missed the Mobilee showcase last year and blkmarket NYE doesn't count. When I saw Vincenzo I asked him to pass along to Pan-Pot that they've been asked for a lot. Their style is ever evolving. Rembmer they were straight up minimal just a few years ago. Transitioned to Berlin techno and then a mix with tech house. They're getting a little lighter but they're still banging it out too. I'd like to see them get more to their minimal roots sound wise with a fresh take on it.
Yes and Pual K. would be massive. Let's start our own promo agency and make it happen.

We pretty much have all the brainpower we need to start a promo agency.
Pan-Pot's sound has evolved so much throughout the yrs, however, they always seem to bang to whatever it is they put out. And, yes, I've enjoyed them the most during their minimal days.
The day that Format B comes, is the day I die a happy camper. I've also been wanting to see GummiHz for the longest.

But where's the $$$ at.
Dave Clarke was sick. Party was a little empty though, and not sure how much he was into it because of that, but he played a crazy set anyway. Real journey, banging techno, acid techno, hard electro all there.
Caught Perc too. Really good. He was playing a little slow on the BPM but the tracks were memorizing. Sound seemed a little off @ Underground though. I think the front speakers weren't on / working.

The warriors were there!
I got to witness the legend himself deliver a proper beatdown. Holy smackers, that was crazy.
