They need to know where they stand with him. I agree that we need to tank the season as much as possible but the guy wants to play BADLY and the doctors gave him the green light. If he performs well, he can go play for Russia @ the world championship. Get his game/groove back on. If he gets his knee busted, we'll finally know that the guy is gone for good and we can move on.

If a player is injured for more then a month, he goes off the roster hence off the salary cap. So win/win. It'll be Markov's insurance paying his salary and habs can use that 5.75 mil
