Insom has been talking to Spin for ages trying to get him back out here for him to do a massive, but obviously nothing ever came of it because of his personal reasons.
So now I am sure they already have him locked at something here in SoCal. This isn't the first time Prydz was supposed to come out here, last time he backed out.
One thing about Prydz, even in Europe he is hit of miss. He will sell out a show in one place, and then Dj to an empty crowd at another place (doesn't happen often but it does). He doesn't have a strong following out here in USA. Some of the shows he last did out here weren't that packed, and that's with big promoters like Giant throwing the party's. I know some of the other places he played out here in USA didn't have the turn out that was thought.
I hope when he comes out here he does a small venue in the OC or somewhere in Vegas, because I know if he plays here in SD it will be at Voyeur

Is he gonna bring the epic setup with him? That would mean he would have to get a decent sized venue to set it up right?
I think smaller venues would be better for him in the US. He doesn't play the type of house like SHM or Avicii to sell out big venues. In NY i think cielo would be a good place for him to play.

Maybe I'll bring him to my weekly venue...I'll start a collection plate and lets see what we can come up with by October I'm a huge fan of his and have a 6,000 sq/ft cozy venue that needs a big name DJ - eh? eh?

The thing is, that's my least favourite track from him, and I hope he doesn't play anything like that when he comes to LA.
Need some of this:

I remember walking into Avalon around 2am the first time he played there. Place was poppin, but it wasn't crowded at all. Erick was dropping bombs left and right. I had so much fun that night, I can't even remember another night at Avalon that I had that much fun since.

He won't play at a free event, MM is going to be free this year.

That was a good night, I was there both times he played at the Avy. I know one was halloween, the other year wasn't.
I also liked his set when he played down here in SD at Belo....

Heard Prydz last August at Amnesia in Ibiza. The expansive floor was about 3/4 full, wicked, wicked set! Stayed from beginning to end, and at points the whole crowd would kneel down and then jump in the air together right after the break...priceless memories!
He should spin in a club proper, not for 1.5 hours at a massive, IMO. Palladium would be great, though as others have said he may not have the recognition here to pack the floor. Such a huge venue, kinda sad when it's only half full like it was for PVD.

Saw him at Set in Miami last night of WMC 2010. He had to come to the ropes a couple times to try to get his buddies in. Doorman wasn't letting anyone in.
As for his set, I was surprised it had a trance feel to it. The time before that was at Avalon (pretty sure the night Woody is talking about. Mostly house that night)
