So in this room that im in right now, i have a 28" screen, two 19" screens, a 10.1" screen and my tiny galaxy s2 with a 4,3" screen. Guess wich screen is showing the eng-ukr football match. Yeah, the 4,3 phone screen...definition of insanity?


Luckyly the match is quite boring so its not like im missing much by not watching it on a big scren...also the video stream doesnt even take the full 4,3"...maybe 2/3 of it.

Today I was waiting for a medical appointment when two rather large Aussie ladies came inside and started talking with the secretary. They understood the key words, and could keep a basic conversation with the rather nervous woman behind the desk (as she knew it was just a matter of time until they talked past one another). And, because they're not used to the Brazilian bureaucracy, they communication came to a halt when the secretary asked for the names of the ladies' mothers. They look puzzled, and I thought I'd help them out and translate it for them.

The three-way conversation went on for a couple of minutes and, bizarrely enough, whereas the secretary was quite thankful for the help, the Aussie women didn't look amused in the least. They were from Canberra though, so...
