right..being proud to be russian and enjoying your life has nothing to do with inside politics of Russia. Putin is the biggest mafioso controlling everything from 0-infinity. Even if your relatives are living an amazing life it doesn't change the fact that the guy is almost like czar on the throne that cannot be removed. He controls opposition that he pays off and selects, he controls numerous businesses, he controls all the mass media that brainwashes many parts of russia that dont have an access to alternative means of getting news and information (like the internet).

If you watch russian news channels, the first thing that is shown on the news on a daily basis is what medvedev did, second thing what putin did today then the rest of the news. Hes on TV 24/7.
There are numerous parts of russia where people live in complete poverty just like they did 20 years ago which is not shown on TV. Life's have improved in Moscow and St. Petersburg, not the rest of russia, and if you haven't travelled around the russia yourself you cannot tell me otherwise.

This is all a fucking act and you are welcome to take part in it. You really know nothing about inside of Russian politics based on the information you have provided.

umm, it is a known FACT that moscow is its own hub, it is almost like a separate country housing the wealthiest people on earth. People all over russia travel to moscow leaving their families at home to try and make a living since most businesses are in or around Moscow, same with st petersburg. Do i really have to mention this?

i haven't been back in a while but i have traveled around russia before and i have very close family/friends that have been back almost every year. This again has nothing to do with this. I was saying that IF YOU have travelled then you can tell based on what you saw. There are numerous stations/articles online that describe the situation quite well.
