Dream ,Melodic Trance-PassiePassion [Var Trax]

I should have an older topic where these should go.
But i can't find my old topic in search
Got an error in search [Got reported to sys]
So i have to create a new topic to put these in.
These [5] trax belong in my album 9 topic.
I'm completing that album to 700 mb coming days.
Anyway ,,,

Here are some Dream , Melodic Trance songs that i created.

This one has lots of piano melodies in it.
Could be called emotional i guess.
But i think it best fits the Classic Trance genre
Have a listen it's free haha ,then you decide what box it fits lol

No more embed ability for youtube ?
Pitty my track info is on my vid coffer means extra typing work
hahahahaha Ok Neanderthaler way then

@ Trancelover03591 , Thanks for the reply.

Thanks , Yep your right i like Classic Trance most.
Cos in that style i can put most note changes and sounds.
New style is more focused on loudness then melodies.
And i'm also already old skool i guess ,am almost 40 hihi

But with my next album topic ,i'll go techno styled.
So that will be less melodics and more freaking around
But first gotta fight my pc on my last ec track
I don't use many loops so got 30 tracks drums only hahaha
Have to record some instruments to audio too
My pc can't handle all tracks running at ones
Making it hard on myself again ,too much creativity lol

Greets ,Pascal

96 Chinatown-PassiePassion

This one is less melodic and quite simple in note changes.
But it has a relax-nostalgic feel to it.
So edited it and dropped it on this set

I listened to your latest here and you have some good melodic and rythmic interplay and ideas but those sounds, you got to get up to date as they sound like GM sounds.

Take for example the pad at about 1.30 - it's so bare and old sounding. Now you can use dusty old sounds in modern tracks for sure but not very basic GM sounds like yours as they are like those straight out of a Technics keyboard in a shopping centre.

I say all this to help focus your mind so you can bring your ideas up to speed.

Remember, a clap is never JUST a clap.

[B]98 Emerald - PassiePassion{/B]

Artist: PassiePassion
Title: Emerald
Bpm: 140
Style: Acid ,Psy ,Uplifting Trance
Time: 10;17
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QX59vhVAmHM

This is a psy trance like Uplifting ,i guess Trance song.
Not real psy trance cos i don't use the psy kick or leads.
But the Acid's give a psy feel to the flow imo.
Not a real dream trance song ,but has some dreamy elements too.
And i wanted a bit more NRG for the last song of this album.
Cos all the other songs are rather chill already.

Hope you EnJoY.

@ Richard Butler

I have posted various topics with the info but those topics seem to be gone.
I guess cos they stopped to use embeds and my topics were full with embeds.
But on the old topics i explained it

All these songs are oldd idea's that i made over the last 20 years.
I'm just picking out the ones that i think are worth it to finish.
Thats why you wont hear that sparking new sound in them

I was hunting VSTi for years ,but stopped doing that some years back.
So i don't get the latests available synths but use the synths that i have
Vanguard ,Zeta , Nexus ,Atmosphere
Am still working on Emagic Logic 5.5 [PC] Don't have mac cash
To me making music is most about being creative nowadays
My pc is not strong enough to handle heavy plugins
So i try to use the cpu friendly synths
And sometimes i use very thin strings cos they don't use much cpu power
And the sound is thin then most times
So then it does not take much room in the mix
So i can put more instruments in there

Sometimes i even need to take delay or verb away from a nexus sound
Else the cpu can't handle it
Off course i can record the vsti to audio to get power free
But i just like to have my song full midi so i can change tempo
Or edit years later like i do now with various songs

I haven't made many new songs lately ,well some downtempo
But haven't made many dance songs lately only some added instruments to the old songs

If you check my music then expect creativity in notes
That fat sound uses much cpu so i don't use that much
Genesis CM as example i can't even sequence 2 sounds of that synth.
Has great sounds but waay too cpu heavy for me

Perhaps time to see if i can find some new preset sets for vanguard
Love that one as i can load that one 10 times if needed haha
But i don't make music regular enough these days to keep up to date.
Ones was even engeneer at a recording studio
And i even got an offer to sell my music at 300 sales sites.
But i tried various net labels over the years and non have the power to promote.
So to me music is just a hobby these days

I also got disabled for work out of the blue some years back.
Got Epilepsy now.
So i'm no career musician , i just make use of the old songs
Makes no sense to keep them lying around and no one ever hearing it.

I founded a lot of things I could really like your tracks for my friend but comments above address some valid and important issues which may effect your production future (popularity of your music).

Cheers mate,

Darek

A nice or not nice musician is not measured on the gear that they use.
Thats what the commercial scene wants you to think hihi
The quality of a producer i measure on the creativity they show.
What do they do with what they have

By using loops you can make a very good sounding song in no time.
[I don't mean you use only loops ,cos i heard instr in your song too ,got more budies using fruity or reason]
But i seldom use loops cos i rather work out a rhythm myself
And even if it sounds a bit less shining than the loop
I'd always prefer a midi made loop over an audioloop

If those things effect my popularity ?
I figure there are only some here who listen to creativity
You don't see many replies to the topics
It's not like 10-5 years back we post a song and have 50 views in 1 day
So i don't post here to be popular
I post my songs here to share creativity with fellow musicians
Only post my songs at 2 musician forums not even embed on facebook
So i'm not doing this for the popularity

But already helped 3 guys here by making some new melodies for their song.
And one by re-arranging his song.
Plus i did various remixes over the years
Those artists don't want my remix cos my sound is so good
But because they like the melodies that i create and the feeling that comes from the song.
Forgot 2 i mastered their demo for too
And the net label i was with 4 years ago also asked me to master all their songs
So i must be doing something right ,but yep 2 year old sounds at least hahahaha
Well latest song has that tyas kick that i like so much
So thats has a new element in there as well and is mastered with a new tool hihi

Greets buddy

Pascal.

Pascal - it is all about you and your music - any additional happy listener or nice complement/comment it will be/would be a bonus.

For me music is always content and connection to a listener, a way of expressing myself in the form of another people can enjoy your language (music).

All the best for you and your music my friend.

Darek

Yep i agree totally
And the forum is also nice to get into new things
Normally i always use the full power of the kick that i use.
Or i even eq it more to make it fatter.

Now i heard your song and the arty one
And those songs don't have much body on the kicks
So i thinned up my kick on Emerald as result to give that a try
Thus it brings in more creativity imo to listen to others trax

And i don't dislike the result only had to do the mastering in a whole different way.
Because the vu meter was jumping all around with instruments going louder than the kick hahaha
Still is btw that last song has mid body but a high punch
Now kick lets the vu meter jump even if you don't hear much body on the kick.
Even though i put the kick 5 lower in vol then i normally do
But i love a challenge every now and then as that gives new experiences.

Sounded like you really know the direction you want to take your music to - this is how it should be !!!!
