They could try. Thing is, if the PQ did get into power and did drive for a referendum. We would become the new Greece in a heartbeat. I would love to see the PQs book on how they would repay the Canadian government for certain federal pieces in this province (new country). Canada will not let us use the Canadian dollar. It would cost millions to just get equipment to print money. Also what will they do when they have to do business with the US, force the US to speak French or will they have to hire people to speak English for the PQ (seeing the PQ is so against the language).
What is interesting, the PQ wants to fight for Old Harry, yet they do not want to destroy Anticosti Island, which is quite understandable.
The PQ does have some decent ideas, but this province needs the money. When this province has the money, and everyone worth like $100k than maybe we can separate from Canada. Lets just wait until 2050.

What is interesting, I was checking out CBC questionnaire and who you best relate to. One of the questions is asking, if pedophiles should have their address and name published and no party would ruin those peoples privacy, except the CAQ. Go figure that the Liberals, PQ, SQ and would protect pedophiles  Those people shouldn't live one minute in peace. They choose to do that act and hurt someone.
