Northern Tide - Revelations Podcast [Drum and Bass] [Liquid]
It's finally here!
For the past year and a half now, I’ve been listening quite heavily to drum and bass, specifically liquid DnB. I’ve always wanted to make a mix out of the tunes I’ve been collecting but have never gotten the chance or quite frankly, confidence to do one yet.
Well my friends, welcome to my new mix series, Revelations. This podcast will be a regular series (I'm hoping monthly, but they may be delayed due to work/life responsibilities) where I explore the world of liquid drum and bass. In the episodes you should find some jazzy, soulful, atmospheric and melodic slices of d’n’b. I will be focusing mainly on new tracks, at least released in the past couple of years or so, but some oldies might find their way into mixes here and there.
The first episode, Revelations 001, is in my opinion a great foray into the entire series as I explore many different atmospheres and elements in this one. However, the mix ended up feeling more “happy-go-lucky” and melodic as I would have originally planned.
In any case, I really do hope you enjoy this new series. I thank you all for your patience as of late as I really have not been releasing mixes as regularly as I used to. Life caught up to me in a hurry and I was catching up along with it. This new series has given me quite a lot of motivation and I believe that will carry me through to many more episodes in the future.
