Excactly which music labels does the RIAA represent? |

Now that's just plain stupid. I'd be pissed to be contacted by them like that... I mean for just a single file? It almost seems fake. Surely the RIAA are busy tracking down "serial filesharers", not catching people hosting just one amateur remix in their own personal webspace. But don't worry man, in a court of law, you'd own their asses. |

"The RIAA has shocked the legal world by continuing their quest to eliminate free music sharing by filing a copyright infringement suit against God. Mitch Bainwol, who was recently appointed President of the RIAA said, "Our efforts going after college students and the small time music sharing community have been largely fruitless, so we decided to go after the big guy. Let's face it, when God created man, he put forth the most advanced peer to peer file sharing service the world has ever seen." God was unavailable for comment but sources close to the creator would not rule out a countersuit, or plague of locusts. In related news, 80s Christian rockers Stryper, were awarded 46 cents in damages because a Pittsburgh teen accidentally downloaded one of their songs when looking for pictures of strippers." |

well looking at that thread and the email he recieved, i dont think its from the riaa because of the spelling mistakes, and the fact it says its a automated email. look for the senders ip adress in the email header then put it into http://eamnesia.com/hostinfo/ipinfo.jsp
to find out who owns that ip.
