How long for music to "sink in"?

| I'm wondering how long, in your experience and on average, it takes for a CD/record to "grow on you" before you start enjoying it, if you didn't really like it immediately. |

| For me albums don't really grow on me, I either immediatley like them or disklike them. |

pretty much the same for me....but there have been some exceptions though. |
