Just wondering.

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question... =P

trance is crisp and melodic, with peaks and breaks

techno is rhythmic and dirty, with a much more progressive, unbroken flow.

and one ends in an e, and one ends in an o

I'll have to generalise a bit so as not to go into too much detail...

Trance: More melodies and harmony, emotion, tracks 'flow' in that they build up, break down and so forth.

Techno: Less melodic, more just driving beats, effects, etc, not at all dramatic or emotional in the way that trance can be.

and to add to that... bpm.

Yup, I thought so. I like Trance better.

Techno has more metallic and clanky sounds. Like pots and pans whacking against each other, but in a good way.

I think the main difference Trance is more upbeat like most people have said. Techno seems to be like just breakbeats if i can say. Trance is more meledies, and synths etc. Some of which is kinda hard to say. But music is music.

Trance is full of sellouts who have no guts to speak up
