M-Audio problem...

for the M-Audio Keystation 49e ive had this for about a year now..hardly use it, but when i do it works fine.
now everytime i try and connect it i get this error..
"One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it..."
ive tried reinstalling all the drives and it still doesnt work..also m audio has nothing on the subject at their website.
so if anyone can help please reply.:) |

have you tried connecting it to a different port?
if so, honestly your only option is to go for a windows reinstall. once a driver is buggered, the time it would take to try and fix it is longer than a reinstall lol. |

| ur usb port might be faulty. try other hardware see if it works |

| well i have an E-MU XBOARD 61 and i get this error when i have plugged in my Flash Drive stick and also i get it recently and i can't remove safely hardware i get an strange error probably windows fault but better try unplug other usb devices and then try again .. if it doesn't work reinstal OS |
