If you REALLY want a harpsichord then it seems, well, quite cheap, so why the hell not. But the price would certainly raise issues regarding quality. Is it a Fisher-Price one or something?

I grew up around Mennonites as my father was raised as one but broke away from the lifestyle when he was 18. They frowned on musical intruments so I doubt this would be from a Mennonite home unless they were not conservative. My grandmother was forbidden to play the piano despite it being something she loved before she met my grandfather and became Mennonite.

Did you try it out? As long as it makes good sounding tones that resonate well with your ears, snatch it up.
