i'm like the only person i know who had a fantastic time on the boat last year and as much as i love that ricardo and my wife are playing in one of the rooms/floors/what have you, i'd rather save my energy for old miami. these old bones can't party like they used to... |

I didn't have a bad time... but I think I expected more... *shrug* I loved the sound tho! :eyespop: it was in madness in there!
Boat Bass FTW!
I think mainly Toronto people are hating on the boat because it was not the "Toronto" style boat party they're used to... |

It's a great line-up, but I don't think I will go. The boat was just way too empty last year, and it doesn't seem it will be any more full this year (Paxahau said capacity will be capped at relatively the same amount of people as last year).
Also, the line-up last year was arguably "better" (even though they didn't have Ricardo), and it was still a bit of a letdown.
I would totally go to this party if there weren't a billion other things going on this weekend, but considering how many times I've seen Ricardo, Sneak, Carter and Pullen, it's not really worth the extra time, money and effort. |

Without the Ricardo and Hawtin rumours being true... that Sneak and Carter combo is insane! Amazing howse floor! Will be awesome!
And pretty much everyone else i'm rolling with through the festival is hitting up the boat too, I guess I am going!
Any party regardless of who's playing and capacity with the right people is good times and fun!
Also, where you getting the information that it's capped capacity again? |

the "ricardo return" is way too over hyped i find, 3 hour set then another 3 hour set on the boat, thats not the right way to see him play. He loves to build his sets from scratch, i think a lot of people will be disappointed with his set this year but we'll see..
i also agree that the line up was better last year, only 2 headliners on each floor? that boat is humongous it will be empty if they cap it again.. |

For me Ricardo coming back to the US is a huge deal. I can't just hop on a plane and see him somewhere outside the US as of now (at least if I want to come back), and I've never heard him live. He's supposed to play NYC this year too, so if his sets don't live up to the hype in Detroit, I can catch him a second time. |

Maybe we can check out a sober set fom him at the Beatport tent, then a mangled tweaked out set from on him on the boat?!
Get the best of both worlds lol! :D :eyespop: |

I'm surprised G! You know my thoughts of this though. The only boat cruise I'll be going to that night will be the one I create in the hotel bathroom(s)! I'll bring all the ducklets! |
