another epic intro for sasha, superb track by robert miles... you can hear gene hackman :happy2:

has a very definite quivver/space manoeuvers feels to it.

It's just a truncated recording of the Simons Gemini Party Gainsville Florida set from 27/05/1996. The full set is over 6 hours long and is widely available on the Internet:

Sasha & John Digweed - Live at Simons Gemini Party, Gainesville, Florida (27-05-1996) by Yeah Radio on Mixcloud

The full mix features Digweed, then Sasha and then what seems to be them both back to back. The mixing is pretty terrible in places because they were clearly off their nut on E, but I have very fond memories of listening to this set on the long flight to New York City a few years back.

I spent a lot lot lot of time running and exercising to that mix.
OrangestO
I went to uni in Gainesville. Still can't believe there used to be a big scene there, lol.
rubez
how's the quality on the set?

the CD sounds really good. seems to be mastered. you hear it going from the crowd and a typical set quality, to a studio recorded quality.

i heard some trainwrecks... part of the charm :D
SYSTEM-J
The quality's not fantastic, but it's when they're B2B that most of the big tunes come out.

Funny how Digweed starts off with none other than an NYC house track. this is one short instance where NYC house music was huge in the mid 90's and had crossover appeal into the UK.

and I just want to add that gay producers were friggin amazing.
SYSTEM-J
Alright Matt, get over New York house music, for 's sake.
